Roots of Hope – Plantation Drive Organized by Sahuliyat Kashmir

The event aimed to promote the importance of tree plantation and environmental sustainability among students. Under the guidance of a professional gardener, students actively participated in planting saplings and received hands-on training on basic gardening techniques and plant care.

The initiative was supported by Microsoft employee volunteers, who dedicated their time and efforts to contribute towards this green mission. Their involvement added great value to the drive, inspiring young participants to take responsibility for protecting and nurturing nature.

Speaking on the occasion, representatives from Sahuliyat Kashmir expressed gratitude to all volunteers, school authorities, and students for their enthusiastic participation. The NGO reaffirmed its commitment to promoting environmental stewardship and community engagement across Jammu & Kashmir.
